Frost on the pumpkin tonight…well, actually it’s snow. Brrrr!

The sign on the door says ‘Vote Here.’ It’s an old grange in the middle of a field, in the middle of nowhere in Idaho. It was my voting place for years. I almost missed voting the first year because I couldn’t find this place! No GPS then! As a New Yorker, I was shocked that voting could be so low tech! You filled out the paper and the ladies put it on a box to be counted by them later. Amazed me. Don’t forget to vote today, fellow Americans!

This is Mel. He’s a hard-working rancher. This is scary look when he wants to look tough, but the truth is, he raises natural beef and calls each cow he’s raised, ‘his mama.’ He loves his animals, including his dogs and considers them family. Each animal, just like him, have a job.
