  Even cowgirls need to bathe! There’s no running water at cow camp, high in the mountains, so we just do what we gotta do! It’s fun :)

  This is the day the cows come home. They’ve been in the high country since June 1, with their babies. They make the long trip downhill to spend a long, cold winter at home.

  Pake-o. Pale and his cowboy dad, Cliff, are two of the best hands around. Ever since Pake was old enough to hold the saddle horn, he’s been riding and roping. They’re a real team, and show up like clockwork for everyone’s brandings in the spring. That’s a real good neighbor and friend!
